Since its establishment in 2021, Tabayer, led by founder Nigora Tokhtabayeva, has committed to creating jewelry solely in certified Fairmined gold, sourced in partnership with small-scale and artisanal mining organizations. Nigora visited Colombia's Cauca Valley’s Chede Mine and its community with photographer Jose Pedro Cortes and filmmaker Errol Rainey to discover the story of gold shaped by indigenous cultures and modern mining practices.
"Fair Gold" campaign showcases the beauty of the Cauca Valley while bringing awareness to responsible mining practices.

Within the 100-square-foot space, Tabayer’s sculptural and modern approach to jewelry design is seen through the lens of Crosby Studios’ distinctive metallic aesthetic. In this bespoke reinterpretation, the Oera Collections’ signature silhouette—a curving knot that softly binds the body—seamlessly melds with the clean and architectural lines of the interior forms.
Harry Nuriev, Founder of Crosby Studios, says: “Designing spaces for jewelry presents unique challenges, particularly in balancing detailing with a minimalist aesthetic. I was inspired by Tabayer’s design philosophy, characterized by its minimalist and sustainable approach to luxury. We translated Crosby Studios’ design ethos by envisioning it as a traveling capsule, a pop-up as an art installation. Clear lines, choice of materials, in the most unexpected locations, resonate with Crosby Studios' aesthetic, seamlessly integrated with Tabayer's philosophy.”
